Katherine Ann Sisson

Katherine Ann Meeks Sisson, age 84, of Pascagoula passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018. She was born August 3, 1934 in Meridian, Mississippi and former resident for over 30 years. She was a former member of Southside Baptist Church in Meridian and current member of First Baptist Church in Pascagoula for 54 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and whatever sport her grandchildren were playing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ben William Sisson; parents, Norbert and Eloise Meeks; grandparents, Alma and J.C. Meeks.

She is survived by her son and daughter, Scott Sisson (Kristal), Wade; Ellen Adcock (Lee), Hattiesburg; seven grandchildren, Andrew Sisson, Whitefish, MT; Alex Sisson, Springhill FL; Larry Sisson, Jack Sisson, and Sophie Sisson, of Wade; Daniel Adcock (JoAnna), Starkville, MS; Carly White (Miles), Fort Polk, LA and two great grandchildren, Kylee Sisson and Will Sisson, Whitefish, MT.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, 9:00-11:00am, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Sam Jones officiating.

Graveside Service will be at 3:00pm at Pachuta Cemetery, Patchuta, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon International in her memory.
