Yvonne Davis Scott, 95, of Pascagoula
passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010
in Pascagoula, MS. When Yvonne married Harold (Scotty) Scott, Sr. they moved to the house on Ford Avenue where Yvonne lived for over 70 years. In the home they made together they raised six children. Yvonne and Scotty loved to spend their free time outdoors either fishing or tending to Yvonne’s magnificent flower beds. Yvonne was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula, MS. She will be remembered for her determination to live a life of voluntary simplicity and prayer. She started every day with her rosary reserving a bead for every member of her family.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Scott, Sr. and her son’s John Scott and Harold B. Scott, Jr.

Yvonne is survived by her three daughters, Marie S. Walker, Mary Lee (Mark) Williams, Sally (David) Monroe, and her son Philip C. (Carleen) Scott;
daughter-in-law, Peggy Scott; 57 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula. Friends may attend a visitation at 1p.m. prior to mass.
