Donald Richard Sebastian 62 of Gautier, MS passed away at his home Monday, February 22, 2010. He was born in Pascagoula, MS on December 7, 1947.

He was a member of the 1966 graduating class of Our Lady of Victories Catholic School in Pascagoula. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, seeing action in the Vietnam War, aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Constellation. Upon returning home Mr. Sebastian worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding in the sheet metal department, and later at the U.S. Post Office and South Central Bell Telephone. For many years he had been self employed using his expertise, installing communication systems. Donald loved the water and fishing and was well known for his skills and knowledge of his chosen sport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. ( Dick) Sebastian and Agnes Vaughan Sebastian. His grandparents, P.T. and Celeste Gautier Vaughan.

Left to carry on his memories are his twin brother, David Vaughan Sebastian ( Lois); brother, Michael Charles Sebastian; sisters, Mary Agnes Dickson ( Ray), Celeste Ann Houser ( Michael) , Cecilia Marie Hannah and Kathryn Dolores Saunders ( Don); special uncles, W.W. ( Billy) Vaughan and Hal G. Vaughan Sr. and many nieces , nephews and loyal friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February, 24. 2010 from 7-9 pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. A Memorial Service well be Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at 10am with Father Mike Kelleher officiating. The family prefers donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul P O Box 368 Pascagoula, MS 39568 in honor of Donald’s life.
