Violet Kelleher
September 1, 1936 - March 7, 2010

Violet Bishop Kelleher, 73, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 7, 2010.
Mrs. Kelleher was born September 1, 1936, in York, AL, to the late Huett and Dorothy “Dot” Bishop. She was an avid reader and a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. She was the widow of Major Joseph A. Kelleher, Jr. U.S.M.C. (Ret.) and was active in the Officers’ Wives Club in Pensacola, FL.
She is survived by three children: Letitia “Tish” Callahan-Smith (Taylor) of Casselberry, FL; Marcus H. Callahan (Linda) of Raleigh, NC; and Kathryn Kelleher Dewey (Mark) of Fairbanks, AK; She is also survived by six grandchildren: John Jacob Astor II, Michelle Rensing (Lance), Tony Di Caro-Smith, Casimir Callahan, Meredith Callahan, and Daphne Dewey; two great grandchildren Olivia Verity and Orion Rensing; and brother Huett E. Bishop Jr. (Shauna) of Raleigh, NC.
A memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 11:00 at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.
Inurnment will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
