Pauline Allen Lewis, 90, formerly of Pascagoula, MS passed away Sunday March 7, 2010 in New Orleans, LA.
Mrs. Lewis was born one of thirteen children on June 25, 1919 in Kosciusko, MS to the late Willie and Ethel Allen. She married James Edgar Lewis on Christmas Eve of 1938 . She was a member of Elysian Fields Baptist Church in New Orleans and Unity Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edgar Lewis in 1991;her parents Willie and Ethel Allen; brothers, Robert , Hubert, James, John, Willie, Maurice, and Vernon Allen; and sisters, Evelyn Peavey and Gladys O’Shaughnessy.
She is survived by two sons, James W. Lewis and Robert M. Lewis both of New Orleans, LA.; two sisters, Ruby Koster and Dovie Jo Allen; one brother , Charles Allen numerous nieces and nephews and the friends and staff of Malta Park.

Funeral Services will be Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:00pm with visitation one hour prior to service at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.
