Carl Bert Lynn  I am a Veteran.
August 19, 1936 - February 20, 2013

Carl “Bert” Lynn 76 of Moss Point, MS passed away February 20, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Lynn was born August 19, 1936 to Will and Ona Lynn in Moss Point, MS. He served in the United States Army and attended Safe Harbor Methodist Church. He owned South Mississippi Pool and Construction from 1968-1980 and later worked for the United States Postal Service before retiring in 2002. He loved nature, gardening, and working in his yard, particularly rooting plants and watching them grow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jedidiah R. Lynn, three brothers, Emory Lynn, Will G. Lynn Jr., Harold Lynn, two sisters, Ina Mae Dickens, and Allison Shumock.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Carolyn Hillman Lynn of Moss Point, MS; one son, Dr. Bert C. Lynn and his wife Karen of Nicholsville, KY; four brothers, Edwin Lynn (Opal) of Vancleave, MS, Frank Lynn (Jane) and Bobby Lynn ( Kay) all of Moss Point, MS, Gerald Lynn of Georgia; two sisters, Beatrice Baxter “Dee Dee” of Mobile, AL and Brenda Lynn Mills (Raymond) of Ovett, MS; one grandchild, Jessica Carol Lynn of Nicholsville, KY and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday 11am-12pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula with funeral service at 12noon. Interment will conclude at Serene Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be expressed at www.obryantokeefe.com.
