My parents moved our family to Pascagoula in August 1969. Dad was a preacher and mom is a gospel musician. Our little family band and ministry has participated in and officiated hundreds of funeral and memorial services across Jackson County. O’Bryant O’Keefe is the most trusted and dependable name in our county for all end of life needs and family wishes. Jean Webb Lott, her Brothers James and Bill and her younger Sister Trudy were the first Family I visited when I traveled from my home in West Texas. As Cousins to one another, we were very close, Jean,James,Bill and Trudy and their Parents, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Neva always opened their arms to welcome my short visits. I miss those calm days of Family. As we made our way in life separated by distance our hearts we’re still tied together. Later years I was fortunate to meet her Husband Jerry and saw the joy and passion they had for the other, that commitment to one another has been extended into eternity by God’s Promise. Love Ya Jean Lott.

With the passing of Bruce Jones I have temporarily lost a friend, fellow classmate at Perkinston and Mississippi State, and coworker at Ingalls for many years. It has not been simply a casual relationship. WE have shared an enormous number of hours and days together during our lifetime. I have seen his unmitigated devotion to his wife Ann , to his employer, to his church and to life itself.
I can rejoice in the confidence that I have that our journey together is only temporarily on hold, and that we will meet again when I have been selected to join Bruce and the numerous others whose lifetimes have been leading the way by example, and I have attempted to follow.

Michael Gamble Sr. was our brother-in-law for many years. He loved to tell jokes to make everyone laugh. He loved his family deeply and he will be missed by all of us. We send our deepest sympathy and our love to all of our family members at this time!

The death of my brother was quick and certainly unexpected. He passed away at only 43 years old. His boys picked O’Bryant O’Keefe funeral home and I am forever grateful. He passed away in Wisconsin on a Sunday. I spoke to funeral home staff on the same day. I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff for making an impossible situation easier to handle. From the minute I got in touch with them, they handled everything and only called when necessary for information and appointment time. Mrs. Tammy, you were God sent. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

I was married to Steve for 25 years and 4 children the last 3 months we talked every day and I am so glad that
we stayed in touch l think it helped me to keep my lifestyle and lifestyle was better because of Steve Wilson

It is with great pleasure that I new Pete as a friend and associate with GAF for over 30 years. Pete was always there to lending a helping hand to anyone who needed help. He was a great person, husband, father and family man. Even though I have not seen Pete over the past 20 years he has stilled remained in my thoughts from time to time. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. God be with you Pete and your family.

With fondness, our memories of a great friend and neighbor on this earth but an even greater friend and neighbor in the eternal peace to come! Our memories of New Year’s Eve celebrations on the front lawn and parties in the “ annex”, filled with WW2 memorabilia, linger fondly... eternal Peace, Jim!
