Anne Gayle Ray Logan age 90 passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020. She was born in Franklin, KY to Levi D. Ray and Viola Hughes Ray. Anne graduated from Simpson County High School in 1948. She attended Bowling Green Business University where she met William A. (Bill) Logan a WWII veteran. Anne and Bill married on October 16, 1949. Upon completion of college they moved to Pascagoula, MS where they raised their family.
Anne was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the choir for many years, and also the Gilmore Shields Circle Meeting, The Joys and 20th Century Club. After a short-lived retirement from the MS Employment Service she joined Heritage Home Reality.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved stepmother Adele Perdue Ray and her husband Bill. She is survived by her children, William Ray (Kitty) Logan, John Scott (Gerry Phillips) Logan, Jett Bonner (Lesa) Logan III, Melinda Gayle (Perry Wayne) Lee, Laura Ann (Larry English) Flint; Nine grandchildren, Nikki Logan (David) Curran, Robert Wayne (Amanda) Lee II, Sarah Logan ( Billy) Werner, Elizabeth Anne Lee, Rachel F. (Brant) Raley, Lauren Lee (Chris) Gorman, Jennifer Flint (Gant), Taylor Logan (Anna), and Hayden L. (Charley) Flint; 11 great grandchildren; two very special women, Pamela A. Logan and Vickie S. Smith and many life long friends.
A private burial will be held at First United Methodist Church Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to First United Methodist Church, 2710 Pascagoula Street, Pascagoula, MS 39567
