Bobby Emmett Hinson, age 76, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 in Mobile, AL

Bobby was born March 20, 1942 to Emmett and Lottie Hinson in Moss Point, MS. He was a people person and a jack-of-all-trades. He worked at the Paper Mill for 15 years and sold Insurance for 28. He loved to buy and sell and his love for people made this an easy hobby. Bobby was a member of the Movella Missionary Baptist Church and a friend to all.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by grandparents Drewy and Lucy Hinson and John and Beatrice Touchstone; and a brother-in-law, Henry Bowen.

He is survived by his wife of 56 ½ years, Frances Hinson of Harleston, MS; two children, Craig Hinson (Charlotte) and Tammy Hubbard (Mitch )  both of Harleston, MS; a sister, Shirley Joyce Bowen ; brother-in-law, John R. Scovel  III; grandchildren, Ashton Shirley (Patrick), Hope Hinson, Trevor Wolverton (Kelly) and Luke Hinson; great grandchildren, Kennedy Shirley,  Noah Shirley and soon to arrive Karter Layne Shirley. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and  many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday January 6, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will be Monday at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will conclude at Orange Grove Cemetery.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com.
