Claude Franklin Adams

Claude F. Adams, age 78, of Pascagoula passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016. He was born May 28, 1938 in Spartanburg, SC and has been a resident of Pascagoula for over 60 years. Claude was a United States Air Force veteran having served four years. He was an active member of Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula since 2005 and enjoyed playing Dominos with the Men's Group every week. In 2000, he retired from IBEW local union # 903 in Gulfport as an electrician for over 45 years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Danie M. Adams; parents, Howard and Sara Adams; grandfather, Claude Adams; grandson, Jonathan Pritchett. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years this November, Jewell Adams, Pascagoula; one daughter and two sons, Pam Werner (Bob), Marietta, GA; Claude Franklin Adams, Jr., (Joni), Denver, CO; Danny Adams (Cynthia), Mize, MS; one sister and one brother, Sara Jett and Chris Adams (Rebecca), of South Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, 6:00-8:00pm, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, 2:00pm, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa.
