Ruth Emmie Inebnit, age 88, of Pascagoula passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Pascagoula. She was born May 30, 1930 in Torris, Louisiana to Albert Hugh Evans and Lillie Mae Webb Evans and has been a resident of this area since early 1950’s. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pascagoula. Ruth enjoyed cooking for others and it brought her great joy to help and assist so many people during her life. She loved gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Homer Rudolph “Red” Inebnit, Sr.; granddaughter, Ruth Emmie Love; two sisters, Dorothy Mae Bordelon and Joan Marie Bridges.
Ruth is survived by her two daughters and two sons, Dolores Ann Gardiner (Raymond), Hammond, LA; Mary Kathleen Pillion, Homer Rudolph Inebnit, Jr. and Joshua Dale Inebnit, all of Pascagoula; two sisters and one brother, Bertha Rosella Bordelon, Evelyn Elaine McLain, both of Pineville, LA, and Albert Hugh Evans, Jr, of Louisiana; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Monday, March 11, 2019, 1:00pm, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Martin Street in Pascagoula. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula. Memorials may be made in her memory to American Diabetes Association.
