Sonya Denise Edmonds passed away December 2, 2018 in Mobile, AL.
Sonya was born on January 30, 1968 to Herb and Camilla Edmonds in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a graduate of Pascagoula High School 1986, MGCCC J.C. Campus 1988, and University of Southern Miss. 1990. She was currently an assistant teacher at Colmer Middle School. She was an avid Alabama fan til the end. Her unexpected death left a void in many lives. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her parents, Herb and Camilla Edmonds of Gautier, MS; a brother, Christopher (Tamala) of Atlanta, GA; uncles, Larry Krallman of Tuscaloosa , AL, Michael Krallman of Clanton, AL, and Richard Krallman (Becky) of Tuscaloosa, AL; cousins, Michelle Chanelle (Ray), Rachel, Caden, and Allison, Melanie West (Mike) and John Ross, Matthew (Tiffany) Erik and Evan , Ryan Edmonds, Jasmin (John)Cole, Brian and Charlie, Alex Krallman and numerous other relatives and friends.
A Visitation for Sonya will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 at St Mary’s Catholic Church from 2:00pm-4:00pm with Memorial Mass beginning at 4pm.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Colmer Middle School Faculty, and the Administration of the Pascagoula/ Gautier School District. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 4400 Audubon Lane Gautier, MS 39553.
