William David Parrish, DMD
David passed away November 12, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by
his grandparents William F. “Buck” Buchanan of Laurel, MS, Captain and Mrs. T.C.
Williamson of Laurel, and Mr. and Mrs. Andy Parrish of Laurel; and infant son William Parrish.
David attended The University of Mississippi (‘86) followed by The University of Mississippi
School of Dentistry (‘90) and has practiced in Gautier, MS since September of 1990. He opened
his own dental practice – The Dental Center of Gautier, PA – soon after moving to Pascagoula,
MS. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Pascagoula, where he served on the
Church’s Vestry. David enjoyed tennis, the outdoors and his family.
David leaves behind his wife Jennifer Parrish and their children, Nyla and Lydia; Houston,
Anna Katherine, and Amelia Grace and their mother, Teresa Parrish, all of Pascagoula; his
granddaughter Brooklyn Parrish of Pascagoula; his parents Aaron and Beth Masters of
Pascagoula, and Edward and Sheila Parrish of Laurel; and his siblings Tina Hicks (Greg) of
Gautier, Scott Masters (Debbie) of Franklin, TN, Jonathan Masters (Catherine) of Olive Branch,
MS, Tara Parrish-Clark and Hailey Parrish, both of Laurel; as well as cousins, aunts, uncles,
nephews, nieces and other family members and many friends.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday November 24, 2018 at St Johns Episcopal Church at 11am with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the name
of both David and his infant son William.
