Wilnetia "Netia" Daniel

Wilnetia “Netia” Nell Daniel passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the age of 78.

Wilnetia was born in Buckatunna, MS to James and Lane McCoy on September 3, 1941. Netia met and married Lawrence Ray Daniels who passed away in 2009.  She worked various jobs throughout her life, waitress, bartender at restaurants and motels. She was a long-time resident of Gautier. She loved working in her yard and had a green thumb that caused everything to flourish this was her happy tranquil place.

She is survived by her children , Marnetia  Ferro (Chase) of Gautier, MS and  Patrick Free of Seattle, Washington and a brother, Perry McCoy  (Virginia) of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Melissa Pierce and Richard A. Martin; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Pierce, Cameron Pierce and Hunter Mixon; great-great grandchild, Gracie Lain Mixon; and numerous other relatives, neighbors and friends,

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 4 pm with visitation one hour prior to service. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com
