Alex Guido Obituary

Alex Ramon Guido, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2023. He was born in New Orleans, LA on August 28, 1986 to Letha Holmes and Ramon Guido.

Alex had a big heart and he loved his three children fiercely. He loved to goof around and always had an infectious smile on his face. He loved to root for his favorite football teams, the New Orleans Saints, and the LSU Tigers. Not only did he love football, but he was the star quarterback for his high school football team, making the Allstars. Alex loved to pass the time fishing and hunting, spending time in nature. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Through all the hardships he faced in his life, he loved that much harder. He was a people person and a people pleaser, communicating his love towards all those he knew through his funny and charming personality. Alex especially had a love for himself, being proud of his good looks and never afraid to show it.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Letha Holmes; brother Anthony Guido; grandparents, Sherly Holmes, Glenn Holmes; and uncle, Rodger Bufkin.

Alex is survived by the mother of his children, Tiffany James; children, Alex “AJ” Guido Jr., Alexa Guido, Alexi Guido; sister, Erica Guido; nephews, Dearel Guido, Tristan Smith; aunt, Carol Bufkin; life long best friend, Brandon Lewis; and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
