Alice Rae Crawford

Alice Rae Crawford passed away in Ocean Springs on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the age of 86.

Alice was born in Petal, MS to John and Mamie Hanley on July 29, 1938. She married Jack Edwin Crawford and together they raised 2 children Joe and Janice.  Alice loved people and people loved her. She enjoyed Crafting, knitting, crocheting, fishing, camping, thrifting, and most anything, that involved family and friends. She was strong on her faith in God.  Her voice of discipline was enough to keep Joe and Janice and sometimes Jack in line.  Her declining health for several years has brought limitations and although she will be missed here, we know she is having a grand reunion this Thanksgiving.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings and survived by her children; Joe Crawford (Lisa Fisher) and Janice Lynn Parker (James) siblings, Robert Hanley and Rosie Barrett (Howard); 15 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula from 10am-11am with funeral to begin at 11 am in the chapel. Interment will conclude at Machpelah Cemetery.
