Alissa Lynn Gladden

Alissa Lynn Gladden passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the age of 28. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, and aunt. Family was the center of Alissa’s world, and she never hesitated to put their needs ahead of her own. Her quiet strength and constant presence were a source of comfort to those she loved most.

Alissa was a kind-hearted soul whose deep capacity to love extended to everyone she met—and to even the smallest creatures, especially her beloved pets. She will be remembered always for her sharp wit, keen intelligence, and unforgettable sense of humor, which brought joy and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her. She had a brilliant mind, quick with a clever remark or thoughtful insight, and she approached life with both curiosity and compassion. Her stubborn determination was matched only by the depth of her care for those she held dear.

Music was a constant presence in Alissa’s life and a true passion; it brought her comfort, joy, and a way to express her soul.

Alissa is preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Gladden, and by her grandparents: James E. Gladden, Gisela Gladden, Joyce Hamada, and David Pankonin.

She is survived by her father, Robert Gladden of Gautier, MS; sisters, Fawnia Packard (Jeff) of Cedar bluff, MS, and Abigail Gladden of Gautier, MS; brothers, Airon Miller (Brianna) of Pennsylvania, and James Gladden (Jessica) of Gulfport, MS. She is also survived by her uncle, David Pankonin (Bobbi); Aunt Christina Carver (John); Aunt Nicole Garbarini; and nine cherished nieces and nephews.

Alissa’s warmth, brilliance, humor, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered always.

Visitation will be Friday, June 6, 2025, 4:00-6:00pm at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier .   You may send condolences to her family or share a memory of her on the Tribute Wall.
