Ann Merritt

E. Ann Merritt, 85, Passed away February 3, 2025 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS.

Mrs Merritt was born February 9, 1939 in Pascagoula, a place she loved and would remain throughout her life. She loved caring for abandoned cats, her favorites ended up in her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Ray Merritt Sr.; daughter, Shirley Ann Merritt;  mother, Alice Adele Ladnier and father, Robert Ladnier, siblings, Robert Edwin Ladnier and Edna Jean Ladnier Olier.

She is survived by her son Alan and his wife Denise of Wesson, MS; sister, Bettie Bounds of Marshall, Ill; nephew, Wesley Merritt and close friends, Steve and Toni Kraft of Pascagoula, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2025 at O’Bryant – O’Keefe Funeral Home from 10:00AM-11:00PM. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 in the chapel. Private Interment will conclude at Jackson County Memorial Park.
