Anne Krebs Mansfield

Anne Krebs Mansfield, age 89, of Pascagoula passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in Ocean Springs.  She was born December 29, 1933 as the youngest child of 7 to Clarence Preston Krebs and Agnes Marie Ory Krebs.  She was proud of being a direct decent to Hugo Krebs who built the LaPointe Krebs Home.

Anne was a cheerleader for Pascagoula High School and graduated in 1952 and married her sweetheart, Willard Lamar “Bill” Mansfield on June 1, 1952.  She was a loving homemaker and mother to her own and all the neighborhood children.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, also growing and enjoying flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Bill Mansfield; four brothers and two sisters, Preston C. Kreb, Edmund Ory Krebs, Marjorie Krebs Holley, Stephen Wise Krebs, Albin J. Krebs, and Marie Krebs.

Anne is survived by her two sons and one daughter, Paul Douglas Mansfield (Cheryl), Ocean Springs; Walter Preston Mansfield (Debbie), Pascagoula; Marjorie Anne Mansfield, Pascagoula; two grandchildren, Douglas Lamar Mansfield (Darla), Lucedale; Jennifer Cunningham Wilson (Mike), Vancouver, WA; two great grandchildren, Aiden Mansfield and Annaleigh Mansfield; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relative and great friends.

At Anne’s request, a Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 22, 2023, 11:00am, at Krebs Cemetery in Pascagoula, Mississippi with Deacon Mike Gilly and Deacon Stephen O’Brien officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent De Paul in Pascagoula.
