Annette Brooks Boling, age 76 of Pascagoula MS, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at her residence. She was born October 30,1949 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Elsey and Myrtle Imagene Brooks. She graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1969.
Annette devoted her life to serving others and caring for the elderly. She retired from Chateau Deville Nursing Home in Pascagoula (now Singing River Health and Rehabilitation Center) as a Nursing Aid. She married Billy Ray Boling on November 3,1973 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage one year before his passing.
She was a strong-willed and determined woman who faced life head-on and never backed down from being herself. Known for her playful aggressing and sharp sense of humor, she loved joking around and keeping those close to her on their toes. Her strength, laughter, and unmistakable presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Annette is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years; devoted brother, Edward Clifford “E.C.” Brooks; nephew, Gary Brooks.
She is survived by two nephews and one niece, David Brooks (Melinda), Collins, MS; Ronnie Brooks (Pam), Seminary, MS and Karen Brooks (James Overstreet), Collins, MS; devoted friends, Bonnie Bradley and Janie Gomez; numerous great nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, 9:30-10:30am, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.
Funeral Procession with police escort will leave the funeral home at 10:30 for Graveside Service to begin at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa at 11:00am.
