Arlette Odette Johnson

Arlette Odette Johnson passed away at her home on February 13, 2026 at the age of 91.

Arlette was born on February 23, 1934 in France. She was born baby of ten children and would be the last living.

While waiting tables in New Orleans she caught the eye of a a young Jessie Johnson and the rest is history. For the next 60 years they remained side by side. A resident of Gautier for the past 40 years, Arlette was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church, a NASCAR enthusiast and loved caring for animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings and is survived by her husband, Jessie Johnson and numerous friends and neighbors who were like family.

A private memorial will be held at a later date and her remains sent to France to be interred with her family.
