Billie M. Thomas

Ms. Billie M. Thomas, age 86, of Vancleave passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was born December 29, 1934 in Buras, Louisiana and graduated from Buras High School.  Billie enjoyed devoting her life to raising her children and being involved in their sports and school activities. She was a volunteer for a hospital gift shop, her church, swim team and many other groups.  She was a bargain and quality shopper that enjoyed traveling and surrounding herself with people.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Langdon Herndon, Sr.; second husband, Irby Thomas.

Billie is survived by her two daughters and one son, Robin Porter, Vancleave; Lang Herndon, Jr., (Lynne), Scottsdale, Arizona; Melanie Montague, Vancleave; four grandchildren, Ethan Porter, Langdon Herndon, III, Haley Herndon and Georgiana Montague; one great grandson, Ryan Couto.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, 5:00-7:00pm, at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 3290 Ladnier Road, Gautier, MS.   In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to American Kidney Foundation in her memory.  You may send condolences to her family and watch a memorial tribute on www.obryantokeefe.com
