Billy Canterbury Obituary


Billy Dwayne Canterbury passed away at his home at the age of 48.

Billy was born in Pascagoula, MS on January 19, 1970. He graduated from Pascagoula High School in the Class of 1988 and served as ROTC Commander his senior year, He served in the United States Army as a helicopter crew chief in Seoul Korea. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Gautier. He was a loving son, husband and father and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Connie Canterbury of Gautier; his parents Macel and Christine "Chris" Canterbury of Gautier; brothers, David Canterbury (Cari) , Macel Canterbury III (Kim), and sister; Crystal Eve Canterbury; four step children, Tiffany Smith (Wayne), Jessica Rials, Ashley Gos, and Brian Cox; seven step grandchildren, Tristan, Madelyn, Jeremiah, Noah, Braedyn, Akeriah and Kailand.

Visitation will be Friday , September 14, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Gautier from 5:30-7:30pm. Funeral Service will follow with Bro Kevin Rouse officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Hamilton, Wayne Smith, Brian Cox, Paul McVeay, Brice McAllister, and B. J. Canterbury. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com
