Bruce Edward Bishop

Bruce Edward Bishop, 61, of Lucedale passed away at his home on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Bruce was born on June 6, 1962 in Fort Smith, Arkansas born to James O. and Coquita Bishop.He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, watching wrestling, and listening to Elvis. He had a great sense of humor and loved playing jokes on others. He attended Love Thy Neighbor Church.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Roy Bishop, Aaron Bishop, Junior Bishop, Rusty Ball, Thurman Bal, Steve Bishop, John Wayne Bishop, Carolyn Bishop, and Georgie Bishop.

Bruce is survived by his longtime companion, Janet Dunnam WIlliamson and those he considered his children, Allen Neal Dunnam, Kimberly Helen Williamson, sisters, Debbie Gould and Juanita Prins.

A memorial gathering honoring Bruce and sharing stories will be held, Monday, March 4, 2024, beginning at 2:00pm at 18125 Hwy 26 W. Lot 11 in Lucedale, MS.
