With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Ernest Miller, husband, father, and grandfather. Charles passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 26, 2025 at the age of 76. He was born on August 5, 1948 in Moss Point, Mississippi to Willie and Barthelia Miller and was a cherished member of the community. Charles Ernest Miller, affectionately known as “Bubba Miller” is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Miller, his daughter Heather Miller (Kenneth) Bonds; grandsons, Dr. Brandon Charles Bonds and Jayden Byram Bonds; his sisters, Altha (Ernest) Watson, Janice (Tony) Bennett and Letetia (Sean) Smith; brother, Willie (Doris) Miller. Also mourning his loss Johnathan Finklea, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his infant granddaughter, Kennadi Michelle Bonds; sister, Bessie Mae Miller; and brothers, James (Beulan) Miller, and Irvin (Sandra) Miller.
Charles Miller was an avid runner, fisherman, and hunter. He graduated from Magnolia (Monarch) High School, Class of 1968. He loved sports and played nose guard for the Magnolia Football Team, known as the Hells Angels and Dirty Dozen. Charles was also a diehard New Orleans Saints fan.
Charles Miller was employed for many years at Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi until he decided to turn his lifelong hobby as a barber into a business.
The Miller family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who showed love and kindness during his illness, especially to his caregivers, Darrell Sewer, Betty Hunter, Barbara Liddell and the staff of Vital Caring Hospice. May the Lord bless and Keep you.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 2, 2025, 12:00-1:00pm at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 5425 Grierson Street, Moss Point, MS. Funeral Service will be at 1:00pm at the church. Following the service, procession to the Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa for interment.
