Charles Wade Sullivan, age 89 passed away on Tuesday June 25, 2024 in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Charles was born in Dallas, Texas to Melton and Christine Sullivan on March 20, 1935. Charles served in the United States Navy and graduate of the University of Tennessee. He worked in the Aerospace industry as a machinist and was privileged to work on many innovative projects including space exploration. He loved deep sea fishing and was the Tennessee Yo-Yo champion when he was younger. He loved living on the edge, fast and furious via racing. He raced boats, cars and go carts. His zest and zeal for adventure leaves us with many wonderful memories. He will be missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Sullivan; children, Michael Wade Sullivan, James Patrick Sullivan and Joel Wayne Teal, brother; Davy Lee Sullivan, and granddaughter; Jessica Elizabeth Sullivan.
Charles is survived by his children, Robert S. Sullivan (Judy M.), Charles T. Sullivan (Sharree Denise), Anthony Lane Teal, Stacey Darlene Ford (Terry), Tiffany Sullivan Hyer (Eddie) and Elizabeth Sullivan; sister Patricia Louise Foster; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service with military honors will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 10 am at Biloxi National Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com.
