Cheryl Lea Baker of Gautier MS, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 16,2024.
She was born on July 6,1946 in Piqua Ohio, the daughter of Lloyd Joseph Grillot and Vivian Arlene Wolfe Grillot.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Vivian Grillot, her husband of 43 years, James Edward Baker and her three brothers Larry Grillot, Jerry Grillot, and Terry Grillot.
Cheryl is survived by her 5 children, Angela Marie Bynum, Marian Lea Trehern, Tim Trehern, Sheryl Lynn Baker Mc Donald, Eric Mc Donald, Shelley LeAnne Johnson,Adam Johnson, and James Lloyd Baker.
She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, Jared Austin Bynum, Kelcey Alexis Bynum, Taylor Aaron Bynum, Kayla Danielle Trehern, Andrew James (Drew) Johnson, Asa Paul Johnson, and Joseph Jax (Joey) Baker and 2 Great Grandchildren, Emily Harper Fayard, and Rory Carter Hall.
During her life Cheryl was a teacher and a business owner ( Gautier Office Supply) but she would tell you her most important job was being a mother to all of her children. She will be remembered for devoting her life to her family and the unconditional love and support she gave to all of them.
There will not be a public service. The family will come together privately to celebrate her life and legacy.
