Cynthia Hebert Obituary

Cynthia Renee (Cindy) Hebert, 60 of Mobile AL, died peacefully Friday,  August 20, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital.

She was born in Mobile AL,  on October 29, 1960 to Norman Saksa and Doris  Bosarge Saksa. Cindy lived in Moss Point,  Mississippi in the Pecan Road community for the majority of her life and had recently moved to Mobile AL.  Cindy graduated from Moss Point High School in 1978 and continued her education at Bishop State College, where she studied Mortuary Science, which she enjoyed tremendously and had a special gift helping others in need.  She had many things in life that she enjoyed but especially being the best CeCe that she could be to her grandchildren. She took all pride in her grandbabies especially when it came to Emmett's playing sports and you definitely knew where she was in the stands. Cindy's life revolved around her grandchildren and her fur babies, Spanky the dog and Gibbs the cat. During football season you knew who she was rooting for and she was an avid Mississippi State football fan. Nothing would stop her from rooting for her Bulldogs. Every year around Thanksgiving she would have many people and family members waiting for her annual “Hog Head Cheese Day” and it was a tradition she kept no matter what because it was a favorite for most. One thing is for sure, Cindy she spoke her mind all the time and if you held a special place in her heart you definitely knew it. She was proud of her family, but humble concerning herself. This special lady will be missed by all but especially her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Christopher Hebert.

Cindy is survived by her son and daughter,  Evan (Brooke) Hebert of Big Point, MS and Heather (Nick) Smith or Mobile, AL.; grandchildren, Emmett Hebert and Paisley Hebert both of Big Point, MS; Scarlett Smith and Baby BOY Smith both of Mobile AL. ; siblings, Tommy (Joyce) Saksa of Sylacauga, AL and Fay (Jack) Huff of Mobile AL; several nieces and numerous cousins.
