Cynthia P. Russell, ‘Cindy’ age 74, passed away surrounded by her loved ones July 22, 2025. Cindy was born July 11, 1951, in Murray, Kentucky to her parents, Edsel Winstead (E.W.) and Sara Frances Prince. She moved to Pascagoula, MS in 1958 with her parents where she graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1969. After graduation she went on to marry her loving husband Allen Dale Russell. Cindy worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula Gautier School System and Singing River Hospital throughout her adult life. Cindy was hardworking and loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren attending as many of their events as humanly possible even during her illness.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents E.W. and Sara Prince of Gautier, MS.
She is survived by her husband Allen Dale Russell; children Justin A. Russell (Chasity) of Gautier, MS, Sara Beth ‘Bullet’ Dudley (Jason) of Theodore, AL, and Charles ‘Lane’ Russell (Lauren) of Pascagoula, MS; her brother Randy A. Prince; and her eight grandchildren Hayden A. Russell, Peyton J. Russell, Davis W. Dudley, Brooks A. Dudley, Sara Frances ‘Sis’ Dudley, Charlie E. Russell, Mari Caroline Russell, and Mollie Claire Russell.
There will be no public services for Cindy. In lieu of flowers the Russell family kindly asks for donations to be made to the Mark Guillotte Foundation, in the memory of Cindy Russell. Contributions can be made by check mailed to 904 Powells Point, Gautier, MS 39553.
The family would also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care, support and guidance. Their kindness will never ben forgotten.
