Damon V. Shelton

Damon Vanarce Shelton, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the age of 88.

Damon was born in Mashulaville, MS on October 27, 1937 to Mart and Minnie Shelton. He met and married Millie Edwards and for the next 60 years she remained his one and only.  They moved to the MS Gulf Coast in 1973 where he worked and retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula after many years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Millie in 2015.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 2:30 pm at Memorial Park, 5668 Poplar Ave in Memphis, TN  38119, where he will be united with the love of his life.
