Daniel “Danny”  “Hub” Thomas Huntley passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 in Leakesville, MS

Danny was born on April 7, 1953 to Thomas E and Lorraine Huntley in Pascagoula. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding and former owner of Leakesville Hardware. He was a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church. He enjoyed sports and was an avid New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Braves Fan. He was a passionate player of softball in early years and a professional aftergame partier. Danny was a jokester and loved making his friends laugh. Hunting with his boys, Jeff and Jeremy a yearly must between September and February. He was blessed not only with a great family, but lifelong childhood friends, who will be serve as pallbearers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister; grandparents, Maurice and Estella Bosarge and James and Collene Huntley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years who he cherished, Sharen Huntley of Leakesville, MS; children, Jeremy Huntley of Pascagoula, MS, Jeff Huntley of Vancleave, MS, Chris (Joni) McMillon of Leakesville, MS and Mandy (Bryson) Creppel of Prairieville, LA; grandchildren, Mallie Huntley, Bruce Franklin, Caleb Franklin, Kaylee Creppel, Hunter McMillon, and Ryder McMillon; his four-legged friends, Skidder and Charlie; and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12 at Riverside Baptist Church from 10am -11am. The Funeral Service will follow at 11am and interment will conclude at Jackson County Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers; Rick Moorehead, David Futch, David Cunningham, Brad Cox, Doug Spratley, Fearon Jenne, Steve “Worm” McKenzie and Bobby Frederic.
