Danny Eugene Blythe passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in Pascagoula at the age of 77.
Danny was born on June 12, 1947 in Birmingham, AL to Elbert Eugene and Jane Barbara Blythe. He moved to the Pascagoula area in 1959 and was driven to succeed. Danny worked for Ingalls Shipbuilding in the nuclear-sub program in the 1970’s, served 2 years on the Pascagoula Police Department, a former chief with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Reserve. He was also owner and founder of Blythe Plumbing from 1983-present. In his spare-time he enjoyed fishing, boating and RV’ing. He has left us with many fond memories and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Juanita Blythe and a sister, Judy Holley.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Jennifer Blythe; son, Christian Eugene Blythe (Shelly) and daughter, Sherri Danielle Lanaville (Bill) all of Pascagoula, MS; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM. Interment will conclude at Machpelah Cemetery. Condolences can be shared online at www.obryantokeefe.com.
