Danny Pyron Watts

Danny P. Watts passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 surrounded by family.

 Danny was born on July 19, 1945 in Indianola, MS to the late Cecil and Geneva Watts.

He was a Biloxi High School Graduate. Danny served his country in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam and receiving numerous medals and honor. He worked at Biloxi VA Medical Center until his retirement.  He and his wife Sharon, raised four children, Lee, Rachel, Jake, and Kyle. He had a sense of humor and was a huge New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss Rebel Fan since birth or maybe before. He was quiet for the most part but when he spoke you knew it was time to listen.  His short illness and unexpected death has left us numb. We know in days to come we will share many Danny stories, watch a football game, and once again, we will smile as we remember him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife, Sharon Holcomb Watts of Lucedale, MS; Children, Lee Crawford (Kristen) of Catawba, N.C., Rachel Jones of Hildebran, N.C., Jake Watts of Lucedale, MS, and Kyle Watts (Leighann) of Hurley, MS; A brother Cecil Watts (Dianne) of Bogue Chitto, MS.; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Monday, November 20, 2023, 11:00am, at Biloxi National Cemetery.
