Mr. David Thomas Backstrom

May 2, 1977 - Aug 14, 2020

David Thomas Backstrom, 43, of Gautier, Ms, unexpectedly passed away on August 14, 2020. David was born on May 2, 1977, in Pascagoula, Ms to Anita and Jim Backstrom. He was the youngest of three siblings. David graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1995. He enjoyed playing basketball, and he was very clear and articulate.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Anita and Jim Backstrom, and grandma, Carolyn (MeeMaw) Backstrom.

He is survived by his three children Kyle (Megan) Backstrom, Kaley Bosarge, and Averie Backstrom; stepson, Joseph Morrell IV; girlfriend, Alisha Calogero.

A funeral service will not be held. The family will celebrate his life privately.
