David Joseph Musick, Sr.

David Joseph Musick, Sr. age 60, of Pascagoula passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born December 28, 1961 in Odessa, Texas. David enlisted in to the U.S. Air Force on September 12, 1980 until his honorable discharge on May 1, 1986.  He was a formerly employee of Boeing Air Craft in Washington and electrician for Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. 

David attended Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula and enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke, playing cards and bingo and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Lee Musick, Sr and Ann Mae Kiddy Musick; 2 brothers, Jimmy Lee Musick, Jr. and William Musick; mother-in-law, Lois Meador.

David is survived by his companion and wife of 14 years, Debra Musick, Pascagoula; two daughters and two sons, Ashley Slayton, Pascagoula; Stephanie Deforge (Craig), Quam; David J. Musick, Jr., (Brenda), Washington; Christopher Musick (Nicole), Washington; 3 grandchildren, Amaya Boyne, of Pascagoula; Autumn Slayton, of Pascagoula; Olivia Musick, of Washington; father-in-law, Jerry Meador, of Pascagoula; two beloved fur babies, Thor and Xena.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 30, 2022, 6:00pm, at Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula with Rev. Tracy Martin officiating.  You may visit with the family from 5:00-6:00pm.  You may send condolences to his family on the Tribute Wall.
