Deborah “Debby” Ann Cosby Pochon, age 72, of Pascagoula passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones at her home. She was born May 1, 1952 to the late Rev. Rex Cosby and Pearline Cosby of Grenada, Mississippi.
Debby was a Retail Banker for over 40 years in the banking industry and retired in 2020 from The First Bank in Pascagoula. She was a longtime member and past president of American Legion Auxiliary in Pascagoula. She lived for her family and friends, loved to read, watch old westerns, bake and work in her yard.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Danny Cosby. Her survivors include her husband, Antone “Tony” Pochon; sister, Donnie Anderson, Grand Bay, Al; three sons and four daughters, Kim Parker (Stephen), Moss Point; John Parker Jr., Coffeeville, MS; Carrie Parker (Hunter), Pascagoula; Peter Pochon (Kat), San Antonio, TX; Justin Pochon (Jessica), Gautier; Leah Dulap (Travis); 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey Nickelson, Dalton Brown, Mia Blythe, Trip Parker, Kaylee Robinson, Ethan Pochon, Tristan Dunlap, Zander Pochon, Victoria Dunlap, and Eden Dunlap; two great grandchildren, Nekoda Nickelson and Joshua Blythe.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, from 4:00-6:00pm, at the American Legion, Post 160, 1019 Market Street, Pascagoula where her family and friends will gather in her memory. In honor of her final wishes, Debby's cremains will be spread at sea at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. You may send condolences to her family or share a memory of her on the Tribute Wall.
