Dewey Riley Jr.

     The life of Dewey Riley, Jr, began with his birth in Lake, MS on June 28, 1948 to Dewey Riley, Sr. and Mae Lois Riley. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Antioch Baptist Church, Lake, MS. At the age of 18, he joined the United States Army. He was united in holy matrimony to Margaret Deering Riley. They were the proud parents of one son, Paladin Deering.

     Dewey was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Riley, Sr., the love of his life, his wife, Margaret Riley, and four siblings.

     He leaves to cherish his memories and forever remain in their hearts, his mother, Mae Lois Riley, his son, Paladin Deering, Biloxi, MS, eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one sister, Lillie Mae Riley, Gautier, MS; one brother, James Riley, Vancleave, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

            A visitation will be held May 24, 2021, at 10:30am, at O’Bryant O’Keefe Funeral Home Gautier with funeral service to follow at 11:30am. Interment will conclude at Biloxi National Cemetery. Stories and condolences may be shared at www.obryantokeefe.com.
