Donald S. Brabston

Donald Shelby Brabston, age 79, was born November 15, 1946, and died December 19, 2025.

His parents were, William Patrick Brabston Sr, and Annie Laurie Brabston of Pascagoula, MS.

He had 5 brothers, William Patrick Jr, Benton, MS; Thomas William Brabston (Deceased), Gulf Shores, AL; Robert Preston Brabston (Deceased); Lawrence Glynn Brabston (Deceased) Moss Point, MS; and Michael Carey Brabston, Gautier, MS; along with many nieces and nephews.

Donald graduated from Our Lady of Victories in Pascagoula and immediately went to work at Huntington Ingalls where he worked for the next 54 years. He moved through the ranks until he became ship superintendent, where he ensured the ships were prepared for acceptance by the United Stated Navy.

Donald loved traveling, spending time at the family deer camp, and helping many people. He was known for his generosity. He was a very good soul.

There will be a graveside service at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point at 11:00 am, Monday, December 29, for those who wish to attend. 

Donald was loved by his family and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
