Donald Franklin “Frank” Borden, age 60, of Gautier passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, October 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1964 in Maryville, Tennessee and has been a longtime resident of Gautier.
Frank graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1982 and received his Bachelors of Computer Science Degree with Minor in Math at University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Since 1987, he has been employed as a Computer Programmer Analyst at Ingalls Shipbuilding and currently for DXC Technology.
He was a member of Centerpointe Church in Ocean Springs and loved his Lord and Savior. Frank enjoyed spending time on the water and especially fishing. He was lovingly known as “Saint Frank” to his family because of his passionate and gentle nature towards the family members and others. Frank loved so many animals including his chickens and being around nature was his favorite pastime activity.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Borden; mother, Shirley Borden.
Frank is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 39 years, Susan Massey Borden, Gautier; daughter, Molly Borden Pace (A.J.), Pass Christian, MS; son, Sam Borden, Gautier; granddaughter, Massey Jane Pace; Pass Christian; mother-in-law, Elaine Massey, Gautier; brother, Geoff Borden (Ashley), Long Beach; sister, Lisa Bennett (Michael), Mobile, AL; former daughter-in-law, Alex Borden; brother-in-law, Craig Massey (Jayme), Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Teri Settle, Biloxi, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and great friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, 1:00-3:00pm , at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home on 3290 Ladnier Road. You may send condolences to his family or share a memory of Frank on the Tribute Wall.
