Donald Henry Simmons, Jr.

Donald Henry Simmons Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Donald was a man of strength, loyalty, and quiet devotion whose presence brought comfort and stability to those who knew him.

For 53 beautiful years, Donald shared a devoted marriage with the love of his life, Roseann. Their marriage was a true example of commitment, partnership, and unconditional love. Everything Donald did was centered around caring for and supporting his family, especially his wife, whom he cherished deeply.

Donald had a passion for motorcycles and found freedom and joy on the open road. Whether riding with friends or taking peaceful drives, being on his motorcycle was one of the things that brought him happiness and peace. His adventurous spirit and love for life were evident to everyone around him.

He will be remembered for his dedication to family, his steady presence, his hardworking nature, and the love he gave so freely. Donald leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, resilience, and deep family values that will continue to live on through those who loved him.

Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created, the lessons he taught, and the love he shared will never fade. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his wife Roseann Bennett Simmons and parents Donald H. Simmons Sr. and Dorris Perkins Simmons

Donald is survived by his children, Tera Simmons Harris (Husband Shane Harris) and Dell Simmons (Wife Margo Baker Simmons), 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; Sister Dara Simmons Kaigler and brother Frank Simmons.                                       

Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2026, 3:30-5:00pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  Memorial Service to reflect on the lives of Donald and Roseann Simmons will begin at 5:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
