Donald Lewis Richards

Donald Lewis Richards passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 in Gulfport, MS at the age of 84.

Donald was born in Pascagoula, MS on May 15, 1940 to Sherrie Richards Sr and Mary Lee Richards. He served in United States Navy and participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion. He enjoyed fishing, yard work and tinkering around the house.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Sherrie Richards Jr, Bernard Lee Richards, Kenneth Paul Richards, Loren Anthony Richards, Shirley (SR. M. Anthony) and Alice Ann Miller,

He is survived by four children, Laura Richards of Vancleave, MS, Donald Richards (LaFae)  of Ocean Springs, MS, Christopher Richards of Ocean Springs, MS  and Michael Richards of Vancleave, MS; siblings, Jean Richards  (Loquieta) of Pascagoula, MS, Joan Mehal of Texas, Ga and Loraine Krebs “Cookie” of Pascagoula, MS.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church with service to begin at 12:00pm. Inurnment to follow at Machpelah Cemetery with military honors.
