Obituary
Dora Mae Parker Goldman passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Lucedale, MS at the age of 79.
Dora arrived on April 26, 1944 one of twelve children born to John and Sally Parker. She was proud to be a homemaker and made a home is what she did. She was an awesome cook and loved caring for her four children and spoiling her grandsons, whom she adored. She enjoyed crafting and crocheting and was a longtime member of Wade Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Jimmy, Dorothy, R.L., and Huey.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Roy V. Goldman of Lucedale, MS; children, Roy T. Goldman and his wife Diana of North Carolina, Robert G. Goldman and his wife Tina of Starkville, MS, James D. Goldman of Mississippi and DaLayna R. Goldman of TX; grandchildren, Robert M. Goldman, Cody Brown Goldman, Roy D. Goldman (Alex), and Scott H. Goldman; siblings, Ruby, Flosteen, Myrtle, Bessie, Brenda, John and Tony; three great-grandchildren, MollieRose, Madison, and Nicolas.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2023 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS from 11:30am -1:00pm. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 1:00pm. Graveside will conclude at Serene Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com
