Doris J. Ezell passed away on Sunday February 8, 2026 at the age of 86.
Doris was born on August 21, 1939 in Toulmiville, AL. She was a Godly, Christian lady and a member of First Pentecostal Church of Moss Point. She was giving and loving and a great cook. Peanut brittle and cornbread were two of her specialties. She loved all God’s creatures great and small. Her love for people was unmatched and it showed in how she lived. Throughout the years or work the customers came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Ezell; her father, James E. Berry; mother, Doris Elliott; stepfather, George Elliott; brother, James Berry; and son in law, Neil Wilson.
She is survived by two children, Sherry Wilson and Paul Hunt (Alicia); a sister, Lorraine Dupre (Ivy); three grandchildren, Michael Wilson (Wee), Ashley Green (Joey), Natasha Tracey (Rueben); two great grandchildren Colton and Amberlynn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 10-12noon followed by graveside at Machpelah with Rev. Timothy Maines officiating.
