Edward Dunston

Edward Clinton Dunston, age 77, of Gautier, MS passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. He was born March 26, 1943 in Pascagoula, MS and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1961 then attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He  received his Bachelor’s Degree He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 35 years in Quality Assurance and Research Design. He was then an employee for 9 years with Seemann Composites as a team leader in Quality Assurance. Ed enjoyed art, writing, sailing, the beach, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Martin Gilmore Dunston; mother, Annie Katherine Davis Dunston; 3 brothers, Ronald Gilmore Dunston, Daniel Earl Dunston, Timothy Paul Dunston; and 2 nephews John Edward Dunston, Donne Dunston.

Ed is survived by his wife, Connie Seamen Dunston; his 5 children, Angela Dunston Barakat (Russ); Sean Dunston (Erin); Carmen Dunston Dossett; Scott Dunston (Morgan) and Candice Dunston; seven grandchildren, Justin Barakat, Evie Barakat; Caleb Dunston, Caiden Dunston; Kayle Dossett; Nathan Gregory, Connor Dunston; and 2 sisters, Diane Dunston and Susan Dunston Pipkins.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 26, 2020, 1:00-2:00pm, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm in the Chapel with Fr. Lalo Mora officiating, and Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point. 

Due to the COVID-19, facial masks will need to be worn, and we must comply with all social distancing guidelines
