Eric Dale McVeay

Eric Dale McVeay,  passed away on Sunday May 26, 2019 at the age of 48.

Eric was born in Pascagoula, MS to Olly and Ann McVeay on November 30, 1970. He was blessed with two beautiful children which he cherished, Jack and Hannah. Eric worked off shore for most of his life and enjoyed the peacefulness of the water, the serenity of the sunsets, the adventure of traveling and the challenge of a good game of golf.   In his short 48 years Eric touched many lives and most importantly, knew he was loved greatly by many.  He is at peace now on another shore watching sunsets with his Momma where he longed to be since the day he lost her.  He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth McVeay and  siblings, Sonny Boy  and Cathy McVeay., cherished uncles, Daryl and  Larry McVeay.

He is survived by his children, Jack and Hannah McVeay ; mother of his children, Trisha McVeay; his father,  Olly McVeay  (Sherry); siblings, Olly Wayne  (Angela), Scott , Chance , Jeremiah (Sacha), Wanda, Melanie and Belinda and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 4-5 pm at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home with funeral beginning at 5pm.
