Evelyn Wagner Toups

 Evelyn Wagner Toups, age 90, of Pascagoula passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was born July 19, 1930 in Kiln, MS and has been a resident of Pascagoula since 1944.  She graduated from Our Lady of Victories Catholic Schools in Pascagoula and retired from Dr. Robert McBroom after 30 years. Evelyn was an active member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church where she served on the Alter Society and was a Past President.   

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Freddie Edward O’Brien and Francis Toup; parents, Francis Joseph Wagner and Mary Moran Wagner; two sisters, Esther Lambert and Mary Josephine Carmel; brother, John W. Wagner.

Evelyn is survived by three sons and one daughter, Freddie J. O’Brien (Jackie), Biloxi; Johnny O’Brien, Florida Keys; Tommy O’Brien (Cecily), Pascagoula; Donna Cantrell, Biloxi, MS; former son-in-law, Steve Cantrell; 7 Grandchildren,9 Great- Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2021, 10:00-11:00am, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am with Father Adam Urbaniak officiating. Committal Service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
