Georgette Collins Henley

Georgette Collins Henley passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida at the age of 83.

Georgette was born on July 28, 1937 in Pascagoula, MS to George and Lunette Clark. She grew up in Pascagoula. She was a proud graduate of Pascagoula High School, Class of 1955.   Georgette was a loving mother to, Debbie, Butch, Steve, Bobby and Billy. She retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding, where she was materials manager.   She moved to Theodore, Al in 2006, where she remained until 2017, when she moved to Pensacola to be near her daughter.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald d. Henley; a sister, Wanda Gaye Clark; two brothers, Bubba and Sherry Clark and a son, Bobby Collins.

She is survived by her children, Debbie and (Thomas) Robertson of Pensacola, FL, Steve and (Maria) Collins of San Diego, CA, Billy and (Gayla) Collins of Pascagoula, MS and Butch and (Michele) Collins of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Gwen  (Matt ) Zelenka of Pascagoula, MS;  six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, 1:00-2:00pm with funeral service to follow in the chapel at 2:00pm with her son-in-law, Thomas Robertson officiating. Due to COVID-19 concerns, face masks will need to be worn and social distancing. For those not able to attend, her services will be livestreamed and recorded on the funeral home’s Facebook page.
