Glenda Ruth Womble Foster, 75, of Grand Bay, passed away on March 28, 2026, leaving behind a family who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Born on September 27, 1950, in Philadelphia, MS, Glenda was a woman defined by her strength and her unwavering devotion to her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Marlene and Raymond Housten Womble; her sister, Shara Gail Womble McLeod; and the love of her life, Joe Michael Foster.
She is survived by her children, Ty Brentley Foster (Chrissy), Allison Foster Hays, Megan Foster Cooper (David), and Joshua Seth Foster; her sister, Jackie Womble Jenkins; and her brother, Raymond Womble. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren— Grayson and Tyler Foster; Madelynn (Noah) Parnell; Mallory Hays (Daulton Waldrop), Macey Hays, and Jackson Cooper. Her great-grandchildren, Korbin, Kannin, Kodi Kate Parnell, and Mae Maryn Waldrop. She also leaves behind an abundance of other relatives who meant so much to her.
Glenda and Mike shared a life together, owning and operating a liquidator and furniture business for many years, a testament of their hard work and dedication.
An Episcopalian by faith, Glenda carried a quiet strength and grace that touched all who knew her. She cherished her monthly lunches with dear friends, a reflection of the deep and lasting relationships she nurtured throughout her life. Fiercely loyal, she stood beside her children through every season with steadfast love, strength, and devotion.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS at 1:00PM with visitation one hour prior to service.
