Heather Nichole Denton Evans

Heather Nichole Denton Evans, age 39, of Pascagoula passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, March 11, 2025.  Heather was born December 3, 1985 in Pascagoula to Roy W. Denton, Jr and Tommie Ward Denton.  She graduated from East Central High School.  

Heather worked at Sonic in Pascagoula for the last five years and loved her job, coworkers, and customers. Heather always spent her time watching or listening to true crime shows, going to the thrift store and spending time with her girls. She loved LSU even though she knew nothing about football.

She was always willing to help anyone and would always give the shirt off her back. Heather loved animals especially butterflies, turtles, and red birds.

Although her time with us was cut too short, her memory and her light will always be with us. We love you always to the moon and back.

Heather is preceded in death by two daughters, Baleigh Nichole Watkins and Macy Lynn Evans; her brother, David “Randy” Lawson; her grandparents, Prentiss “Papa Jack” Ward, Audrey Ward, Roy W. Denton, Sr and Mary Denton.

She is survived by and deeply missed by her three daughters, Madyson Phelps, Audrey Hebert, and Analeigh Phelps; her parents, Roy W. Denton, Jr, Tommie Denton, and Nana Pam; two sisters and brother, Patricia Denton, Tiffany Alford (Darcey), and Robert Denton; her nieces and nephews, Hunter Dearman, Prentice Harris, Crislynn Harris, Dahlila Hall, Grace Hall, Grayson Alford, Janzen Denton, Avery Denton, Magnolia Denton and Saylor Pugh.

The family will be having a private service at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  You may send condolences to her family or share a memory of Heather for her family to treasure.
