James Walter McDaniel

James “Mac” McDaniel, age 76, of Pascagoula passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at his home. He was born October 28, 1942 and has been a longtime resident of Pascagoula.  In 2000, he retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 38 years of employment. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula and enjoy reading, history, old movies, and visiting with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter McDaniel, V’Allison McDaniel, and grandmother, Reba Riley. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Edna Mae McDaniel, Pascagoula; son and daughter, Steven Mark McDaniel, Spokane, WA; Ashley Dawn Duncan, Gautier; Rebecca Ann Landrum, Wayne County, MS; eight grand children Ashley Blair Hall, Randy Blair, April Montgomery Blackburn, Justin Montgomery, Anthony McDaniel, Jacob Sharr, Johnathan Sharr and Jimmy Sharr.

Celebrate of his life memorial and visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, 2:000pm, at Riverside Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall, 2211 Canty Street, Pascagoula, MS with Rev. Tracy Martin officiating.
